Stoke Town Centre is home to the Kings Hall which is a popular venue for events ranging from craft and antique fairs to sporting events and Northern Soul nights. The Kings Hall was used as a film location for Northern Soul film Soulboy. Famous fathers of the pottery industry Josiah Wedgwood and Josiah Spode are buried within the grounds of Stoke Minster.
