Love for Newcastle-under-Lyme in NEW tourism campaign
Staffordshire’s official tourist board is launching a new online campaign to celebrate the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Enjoy Staffordshire has organised the Love Newcastle promotion to coincide with the anniversary of the birth of Philip Astley, the Father of the Modern Circus, who was born in the borough on 8 January 1742.
The campaign will run for one week – Saturday 8 to Friday 14 January – and will feature a photography competition, with four tickets to see Marvellous, the heart-warming story of former Stoke City kitman Neil Baldwin, at the New Vic Theatre up for grabs.
To enter, all you have to do is share your images of the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, with the hashtag #LoveNUL before Friday 14 January.
Alongside the competition, EnjoyStaffordshire.com will feature content on things to do in the borough, including walks, events and places to eat and drink, and a social media campaign using the #LoveNUL hashtag will promote Newcastle.
