Sherlock Homes Letting Agents team up with local venue for Valentine’s themed giveaway
Sherlock Homes Letting Agents have teamed up with a popular Stoke-on-Trent venue to provide a special treat for two lucky people.
In December 2022, the ‘Sherlock Community Pledge,’ was launched by the agents, which will see various events and activities to support local residents, community groups and charities take place throughout the year.
So far two hundred pounds has been awarded to winners of online competitions which have been run by the company, and this month Sherlock Homes Letting Agents have teamed up with the Quarter @ POTBANK to provide a £70 voucher towards a meal for two people.
Shaun Jenkinson, who founded the lettings business in 2006, said: “When we launched the ‘Sherlock Community Pledge’ we wanted to do as much as we could to support our local communities in many ways.
“The competitions which we have already done have been very well received and we will be looking to host many more events this year.
“With Valentines’ now upon us we decided we wanted to offer a voucher towards a lovely meal for two at a great local venue – and we are over the moon that the Quarter came on board with us for this.
“It is a lovely place, and maybe a place some people may have not visited before. A free bottle of bubbly will also be provided by the Quarter for the competition winner.”
Rebecca Garland, Events Manager at the Quarter said: “The Quarter are very excited to team up with Sherlock Homes Letting Agents to support the local community of Stoke on Trent. Kudos to the agency for launching this pledge in what is a very testing time for many local residents.”
The £70 voucher provided by Sherlock Homes is valid for 12 months and a free bottle of Prosecco will be provided by the Quarter for the reservation – to be confirmed at an agreed date – at the Stoke-on-Trent venue.
Helping in the community is something the letting agents have always prided themselves with and for the last seven years Sherlock Homes have sponsored football shirts for youth team Bentilee Bulldogs, as well as sponsoring other sports clubs throughout Stoke-on-Trent.
Shaun himself has also flown out to Goa, India on several occasions to take football shirts to orphaned children.
A grand Charity event is one of the future events being included in the ‘Sherlock Community Pledge’ calendar for 2023.
Shaun added: “Over the coming months we will be making more announcements about events in our local area – one of which will be a huge fundraiser for a local charity.”
