Mindianapolis Grand Prix fundraiser for Stoke-on-Trent Charity
CHARITY North Staffs Mind is inviting 14 local businesses to join them for a fast-paced event to raise funds for its work providing mental health and wellbeing support.
The event – Mindianapolis Grand Prix – will take place at the TeamSport Indoor go-karting arena, in Burlsem.
A race will cover 30-laps of the 500m multi-level circuit which has an average lap time of 45-seconds. An in-depth race briefing will also take place beforehand.
Steve Channon, of North Staffs Mind, said: “We are really looking forward to the Mindianapolis Grand Prix. This is going to be a really fun and exciting event and at the same time will help to raise funds for our vital work in providing mental health and well being support to local people throughout Staffordshire. As a self-funded charity events like these are so important and we are really looking forward to seeing everyone on the day.”
The event will take place on Wednesday 10 May, from 5:30pm. Places will be booked on a first come first served basis.
North Staffs Mind are based in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent and provide support to 8000 local people each year.
Entry criteria is with a fixed sponsorship agreement and with the amount dependant on where a driver finishes.
