The Ladyboys of Bangkok Review
If you’re looking for glitz, glamour, live music and a good ole giggle then get along to see the Ladyboys of Bangkok in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
From the moment you enter the bright, big pink Sabai Pavilion you know you’re going to be in for a fun packed night of entertainment.
Inside Thai food is on offer as well as refreshments from a large bar area and a full size Tuk-Tuk is available for that perfect picture opportunity.
As you go further into the pavilion you are shown to your table and once the show begins tributes to Kylie Minogue, Beyonce, Madonna, Whitney Huston and Rhianna – to name a few – are performed on stage under a large glittering disco ball.
There may be miming but don’t let this put you off, the costumes and choreography are more than enough to get the audience clapping, dancing and singing along.
In between costume changes audience participation is high on the agenda – and the Ladyboys Car Pool Karaoke and Lip Sync competition are just sheer class!
The entire production is spectacular and the Lady Boys are all just as stunning as the costumes they wear.
You cannot help but smile, laugh and sing along throughout. This is the first time the Ladyboys of Bangkok have come to Newcastle-under-Lyme, and this is a show which is definitely different – but this is a show you will want to see! If you want a fun night out filled with spice and pizzazz then you will want to go along and see the Ladyboys of Bangkok.
The Ladyboys of Bangkok is in Newcastle-under-Lyme until 26 October.
