‘The Feast’ is heading to Stoke
A NEW food festival is set to take place in Stoke town.
FEASTED are introducing ‘The Feast,’ which is set to take place on Saturday 2 November, at Market Square, Stoke town.
The event promises to be an unforgettable experience for food lovers of all ages, combining food innovation with hands-on learning and community connection.
‘The Feast’ is to bring together Stoke-on-Trent’s finest food vendors, each offering a creative
twist on ingredients to showcase local culinary talent in ways never seen before and an opportunity to explore food curiosity through engaging workshops, live demonstrations, thought-provoking talks, as well as some surprises along the way.
Event Highlights:
● Unique Food Vendors: Sample a variety of mouth-watering dishes which will celebrate
the local culinary landscape.
● Interactive Workshops: Opportunities to take part in expert-led sessions covering topics such as fermentation and reducing food waste.
● Live Cooking Demos: Watch chefs showcase cutting-edge cooking techniques and seasonal recipes that you can replicate at home.
● Educational Talks: Join discussions with thought leaders on sustainable food practices, the future of farming, and the importance of seasonal eating.
Feasted is proud to collaborate with local businesses, chefs, and artisans who share a commitment to creativity, sustainability, and community. This event aims to highlight
Stoke’s vibrant food scene as well as sparking conversations about the future of food and how local communities can shape tomorrow’s dining experiences.
‘The Feast’ is perfect for families, food enthusiasts, and curious minds with children’s workshops, interactive food stations, and family-friendly activities – as well as being pet-friendly.
Feasted’s Cris Cohen said: “We want people to come with an open mind and leave
feeling inspired. Whether you’re here to try something new, learn a new skill, or simply
enjoy the atmosphere, our festival is all about celebrating the joy of food and thinking
differently about what we eat.”
Councillor Finlay Gordon-McCusker, cabinet member for infrastructure, transport and regeneration, said: “We are pleased to have been able to support FEASTED with their programme of events with funding from the High Street Accelerators Programme. We know that they are extremely passionate about Stoke-on-Trent and we welcome their
efforts to put on new and exciting initiatives for residents of the city.”
The Feast has been funded by Stoke High Street Accelerator Project in association with
Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the UK Government.
