Pageant Queen Katie Rose excelling all the time
Katie Rose Evans has once again excelled in the pageant world after being crowned Miss Teen Sovereign GB.
The 17-year-old, who also held the title Miss Prom UK in 2018 and 2019, had to complete four rounds of the pageant which took place in August.
Due to the pandemic the national pageant took place online seeing each contestant demonstrate their charity and publicity work, plus, on the evening of the event – an interview took place with each teenager and a fashion round.
Katie went on to stun judges with her evening wear round and interview, as well as impressing with the charity work and publicity raised in recent months to win all four rounds and awarded the title.
The Johnathan Willkes Academy student said: “I’m thrilled to have been crowned Miss Teen Sovereign. We had to do all of our rounds online this year but it went well.
“I decided to wear evening wear round and during my interview I chatted about what I would like to do if I won. I also mentioned my college work and background. I really enjoy helping people in the community and the pageants help me to do that.”

Sovereign Group Pageant Director, Stephanie Wood said: “Since Katie was crowned back in 2018 As Miss Prom UK, and now as the reigning Miss Sovereign GB 2020/21 she has been the most dedicated, hardworking, respectful and kindhearted queen we could ask for.
“She is an excellent role model and taken the title on with such pride and dignity. Katie has made appearances up and down the country and even hosted her own charity nights and fund raising during lockdown – she has already exceeded all expectations of what we want from a queen.”
Stephanie added: “During the Miss Soveriegn GB national finals Katie blew the judges away in every round and it was a unanimous decision for the crown from our prestigious panel of judges. We are extremely proud of Katie’s successful dance career and also her voluntary work in the community. She has a very bright future ahead of her and we fully support everything she does.”
Katie’s recent charity fundraising has seen her help to raise £308 for Cauldwell Children and £320 for CV-Welfare Fund. In recent years she has raised more than £20,000 in total for various charities.
The avid dancer has also been providing help in the community by collecting and delivering prescriptions and helping with shopping during the pandemic.
Katie adds: “All of the charity events we had planned and to be cancelled this year so I had to look at other ways. As well as doing things online I also sold a lot of my dance outfits to help to raise money.
“I really enjoy helping people in the community and I also really like to take part in charity events – I want to help as much as I can.”
