CyberKiln helping to boost online presence for local businesses
A successful two-years has seen web design company CyberKiln branch out to new office premises as well as grow their team.
Since launching in 2019, the Stoke-on-Trent company has tripled its client base plus welcomed a new full time member of staff.
In their first year, CyberKiln received recognition for Entrepreneur Spirit in the Newcastle-under-Lyme Business Boost Awards, and the latest move sees offices at Staffordshire University’s Enterprise Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, as the new home for the company.
“We have had an incredible first two years when we think about it,” said Managing Director, Chris, who founded CyberKiln with business partner Luke Malpass.
“When the pandemic hit, we were not even one-year old as a business, but we were not going to let anything get in the way of our success. In the last 18 months we have helped local businesses transform their online presence – helping them to showcase their services and products via bespoke and securely coded websites, which helped many survive through what was definitely a testing time for a lot of people. This has seen our client base increase quite quickly as word spread about our services.
“Last year showed more and more how important it is to have a good online presence and we have worked with start-ups to larger more established businesses. As we head towards the latter part of 2021 we have already doubled sales revenue on last year so moving into our new office was the natural step and it’s been great.”
Recent developments also led to Natalie Snape joining CyberKiln earlier this year to take on the role of Personal Assistant.
Chris adds: “Natalie joined us at a very important stage and we are really pleased to have her with us as we continue to grow. Customer relationships are so important to us. We pride ourselves on transparency and looking after each of our clients needs in the best possible way.”
Natalie adds: “It’s quite an exciting time to be working at CyberKiln and each day is different. Whether we are working on a new website for a construction company or designing a system for a health and beauty salon, we make sure each bespoke design brings about the best possible results for our clients.”
Future plans for CyberKiln, not only include the employment of more staff, but also forming a charitable foundation.
“As well as further expanding our business over the next couple of years we are looking forward to progressing with the foundation so we can provide opportunities and work with more creatives in our home City of Stoke-on-Trent,” said Chris.
