‘Customer Service’ the key behind Critchlow’s Lettings expansion

AN award winning estate agent is on target to reach an anniversary milestone which was set following the introduction of lettings to their service.

Critchlow Estate Agents welcomed Alison Proudfoot as Lettings Manager in April 2022, and in 12 months, they have just under 100 fully managed properties on their books – an initial target set by the team.

Last year the agents were recognised for ‘outstanding customer service’ in their sales department when receiving Gold for Stoke-on-Trent (South) in the British Property Awards. Alison says a shared value and ethos is part and parcel of everything they do as a team and is a key factor in the company’s ongoing growth.

“We are very customer focused in everything we do and we are able to provide a one to one service whether that is with landlords or tenants – which is very important to us,” says Alison (pictured).

“If someone has a query or needs help to arrange something for a property they can call me straight away.

“All of us at Critchlow have years of experience within the industry, with myself some 25 years plus, and we totally understand how busy landlords are, as well as the busy lives our tenants lead, therefore we are here to ensure that their experience with us is as smooth a process as possible.

“For example on each visit we instantly share images and video footage for all routine visits as some landlords may be out of the area.

“Taking care of new landlords is also very important and we can provide that all-important one-to-one expert guidance for anyone who may have inherited a property and is looking to provide a rental option.”

Since launching the lettings arm, Critchlow have 75 fully managed properties on the books throughout Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme with a high percentage of those family homes.

FURTHER EXPANSION

Plans are now pushing forward for further expansion with more lettings agents expected to join the four-strong Critchlow team in the near future. A further branch office is also in the making to compliment the agents’ base at Federation House, Stoke-on-Trent.

“We are getting ready to welcome more staff in the coming months as we continue with our growth plans,” said Martin Critchlow, who founded the agency in 2020.“Our sales department has continued to grow and with a demand for rental properties, our plans are in place to be heading further afield too. I cannot thank my team enough for their hard work and the commitment to providing the best service to our customers which is enabling our growth to continue.”
