Shortlist for LoveNUL Business Awards
Following public nomination and voting stages, Newcastle-under-Lyme BID has announced the shortlisted businesses and individuals for the upcoming LoveNUL Business Awards ceremony on September 15th.
With over 45 businesses shortlisted for the awards across 15 categories, including Sustainability Champion, Community Champion, Independent Business of the Year and Restaurant of the Year to name a few, the BID are looking forward to welcoming potential winners as well as partners, friends and sponsors at NSCG Newcastle Performing Arts College for the Awards Ceremony.
In addition to honouring shortlisted businesses the awards evening will provide attendees with ample opportunities to network and connect with like-minded individuals in the area. This networking aspect of the event aims to create new business opportunities, collaborations, and friendships that will strengthen Newcastle under Lyme’s business community.
The LoveNUL Business Awards has been designed to provides the public with the opportunity to show the love for their favourite establishments, service providers and community champions across 15 awards categories and celebrate those that have gone above and beyond to create exceptional experiences for customers and clients.
The overwhelming response to this year’s awards which has seen over 500 individual nominations submitted and upwards of 5000+ votes cast underscores the deep affection and admiration residents have for their town and its exceptional businesses.
“We are absolutely amazed at the reception the awards have had and never imagined the amount of submissions we would receive. As well as having great feedback and having thoroughly enjoyed reading each nomination from the public, we’ve loved seeing the businesses themselves getting involved and seeing a real buzz around the awards. At a time where high streetscapes are ever changing, its important to note that Newcastle-under-Lyme has businesses that consistently deliver exceptional service and enrich the lives of our residents and visitors,” said Charlotte Pearce, Newcastle under Lyme BID Manager.
“We’re looking forward to coming together with businesses as well as partners to showcase the BID’s current and future focus for 2023/24, as well as allowing business owners and employees to connect, collaborate, and form valuable partnerships within our community.”
