Shortlisted Businesses announced for the LoveNUL Business Awards 2024

Following an exciting public nomination and voting process, Newcastle-under-Lyme BID is proud to announce the businesses and individuals shortlisted for the LoveNUL Business Awards 2024.

The awards ceremony, which is taking place on Thursday 24th October 2024, will be hosted at the prestigious Denise Coates Foundation Building at Keele University, the event’s headline sponsor.

With businesses shortlisted across 12 categories, including Independent Business of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, and Beauty/Personal Care of the Year, the Newcastle-under-Lyme community is eager to celebrate the winners.

The event will be an opportunity not just to honour the businesses but also to connect with key partners, supporters, and the wider community. Sponsors such as KMF Group, Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, New Vic Theatre, and Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) have helped make this year’s awards possible.

In addition to recognising the outstanding achievements of local businesses, the evening will provide valuable networking opportunities, fostering new business connections and collaboration with a focus on community engagement.

The LoveNUL Business Awards were created to give the public a voice in supporting their favourite local establishments, service providers, and community champions. With more than 900 nominations and 9000+ votes cast this year – the event showcases the appreciation that residents have for their local businesses.

Charlotte Pearce, Newcastle-under-Lyme BID Manager commented: “It’s fantastic to see both long established businesses and new faces nominated in the LoveNUL Awards this year. The mix of those who have been part of the town for years alongside exciting newcomers really highlights the diverse range of what our town has to offer.

“We’re looking forward to coming together with the business community and our partners at this year’s awards ceremony to celebrate those shortlisted and the town as a whole.”
