Staffordshire Wildlife Trust say – their low impact nature walks allow time to enjoy the site and meet new people. This walk will tie in elements of the park’s nature to produce nifty nature crafts. Discover a new site across this city.
Staffordshire Wildlife Trust is a wildlife charity. Established in 1969 and dedicated to protecting the county’s wildlife and wild places and are the leading conservation charity in Staffordshire.
Staffs Wildlife Trust have received funding from the High Street Accelerator Project in Stoke to help to revitalise the town – by working with local community groups, businesses, organisations and individuals – to improve the nature of local spaces in the high street, the surrounding greenspaces and parklets, including tidy up and litter picking sessions.
Plus to improve access to green spaces and nature connectedness, for physical and mental health benefits by providing wellbeing events such as accessible walks and nature crafts.
Also working with the local community to gain input and interest to, not only enhance spaces for biodiversity and local use, but also improve skills and foster confidence for groups to adopt spaces and take on their maintenance and management going forward
