Bank Holiday Artisan Market on The Stones
To celebrate the final bank holiday of the summer, the team behind the triple award-winning
Castle Artisan Market held in Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre have organised a ‘Big Bank
Holiday Bash’ to be held on The Stones on Monday 29 August between 10am and 3pm.
Featuring over 60 local makers, bakers and creators showcasing the talents of local artisans, free family focused activities such as live music, free face painting and crafty clay workshop for children and the meandering musings of beloved storyteller Alan Barrett, this family focused event seeks to attract visitors to the town and act of a platform to showcase the creativity of its traders and entertainers.
Cheddleton Oatcakes & 2Chefs Catering, freshly ground coffee from Piccoloco Café served from and cocktails courtesy of Volcanic Potions will be at the market.
The event will also include ceramic traders, delicious vegan culinary creations plus will introduce handcrafted bath and body care products and purveyors of craft beers, ciders, wines and spirits amongst other local artisan stallholders.
Castle Artisan Market co-host and organiser, Jake Burgess said: “We’re really looking forward
