A Decade Celebration for King of the Street
A leading chiropractic and natural health centre is celebrating after first opening its doors ten years ago.
King Street Chiropractic and Natural Health Centre, in Newcastle-under-Lyme, first opened its doors on 22 February 2010, following owner Alaine Skerrett’s mission to create a healing centre with a difference.
Alaine was keen to share a gentle, but highly effective technique called McTimoney chiropractic after being drawn to this methodology because of its precise, whole-body approach to chiropractic care.
The 39-year-old, who qualified as a Chiropractor after four years training at The McTimoney College of Chiropractic in Abingdon, also understood that structural pain could be exacerbated by other factors such as stress and anxiety and she set about attracting the right kind of practitioners to support her patients and her chiropractic work. In the last decade, services have more than tripled at the centre.
“The last 10 years have flown by so fast and that is testament to having a career that I absolutely love,” said Alaine.
“I always wanted to have a centre like we have now and I’m so proud to help so many talented practitioners and to offer such an extensive range of therapies and treatments. Our clients and patients best interests are always at the heart of what we do and we are really excited about the next ten years.”
The growing team of ten practitioners offers Mctimoney chiropractic, hypnotherapy, counselling, psychotherapy, core postural alignment, Indian head or body massage, homeopathy, acupuncture and more.
Alaine adds: “We can now go that extra mile and can offer many modalities to help support clients. We offer a triage service and if people are not sure what treatment or therapy may be most appropriate for them they can get in touch and have a confidential discussion to help ensure they get what they need. We also offer free no-obligation consultations and tasters with our chiropractors, hypnotherapist and counsellor to help people make an informed decision if this is the right treatment or therapist for them.”
